Harlequin's
skipper, Eduardo Guzman has been a sailor for most of his life, starting as a child in Cuba where he spent
his early years by the ocean, sailing at every opportunity.
Upon immigrating to the United States in his mid-teens,
Captain Guzman brought his passion for sailing and love of the sea.
While in college, Eduardo met his first mate, Diane. They married and together during the last twenty-five years
they have logged many thousands of miles sailing the Pacific Ocean
between Alaska and the Panama Canal.

Along the way Eduardo and Diane managed to raise a family
and enjoy a successful professional career. They also collected
art
and art books, and always kept some new learning project at hand.
Since 1996 they have cruised extensively throughout South America, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas.
Since 1999 they have charted in the Virgin Islands, the Leeward Islands, and the Bahamas.
Captain
Guzman is a U.S.C.G. 100 ton licensed captain, with an added endorsement for sailing vessels and an international STCW certification.
He speaks fluent Spanish, and enough French to get along in the French Islands.
Harlequin's
Crew includes a trained and experienced chef.
More
importantly, Eduardo and Diane are looking forward to
making new friends; to share with them the beauty,
tranquility, fun and adventure of cruising and sailing
along some of the most beautiful islands in the world.
